Blind Equalization of Fading Channels t

Two blind equalization schemes wing an antenna array are proposed for multipath fading channels. The proposed methods ezploit second-order statistics and spatial diversity to provide fad convergence rate and better performance in low SNR's. A special orthogonalization technique is wed in conjunction with the Viterbi algorithm to achieve optimal sequence detection withoui channel identification. The proposed approach also has a special structure particularly suitable for time varying channels.
