Dynamical Control of Visual Attention Through Feedback Pathways: A Network Model

Scientists investigating selective attention have to confront two issues. The static aspects: How the brain selects a few objects from the retinal image for recognition and further processing. The dynamic aspects: How attention is rapidly shifted from one of these objects to the next.
