Evaluation of Machine Learning Methods on a Swinging Humanoid

We show that, given a specific task, a variety of machine learning algorithms can be applied. The approaches are evaluated in terms of performance in a simulated environment and applicability to a real-world task. We argue that no approach performs optimally in all aspects considered.
