Geometrical Distortions Simulation of SAR Image Based on ComputerGraphics

The traditional geometrical distortions simulation method of SAR image was analyzed, and the resample method and geometrical model of the traditional simulation were corrected for applying to airborne simulation. The shortages of computational efficiency and precision in the traditional method were indicated, and the geometrical distortions simulation of SAR image based on computer graphics was proposed to enhance the efficiency and precision. Through the simulation of DEM shadow computation and canonical targets geometrical distortions simulation, the new method proves high efficiency in shadow computation and high precision in resample method.
